Puck and Iris recently took an inspiring tour of Rotterdam on behalf of Efficient Hotel Partner.
They have made plenty of (new) discoveries that they are happy to share with you. The day started at Hotel New York / NY Basement, a place steeped in nostalgia. The highlight was the basement, which houses a restaurant and cocktail bar. Here one can enjoy, among other things, delicious fine-dining with an unmistakable New York style. The tour then led to Rotterdam's bustling city centre, where The James Hotel Rotterdam was on the programme. This design hotel exudes luxury and pampers guests from the moment they enter. The day ended on the SS Rotterdam, the former cruise ship of the Holland America Line. The ship is now a unique hotel and event venue, where it feels like you are back at sea for a while, but without seasickness. It offers various rooms suitable for any occasion.

Surprising Rotterdam
Last week, Puck and Iris were out for the second time far outside the Amsterdam ring road, and what an adventure it was again! The day started with a warm welcome at the Heineken Building. The onsite contact pulled out all the stops to make them fall (extra) in love with the iconic beer brand and the impressive spaces in the former Rotterdam brewery. After a gigantic renovation, from September there will be even more opportunities for meetings, celebrations, presentations and parties, of course with the tastiest beer on tap. With a hefty pass, they moved on to Laatbloeien. This venue, perfect for Feyenoord fans, is right on Hofplein and combines coworking with meeting rooms. With ten different rooms, there is always a suitable spot for your meeting. After a delicious lunch in the sunshine (read: 28° HOT) on the Weena terrace, they visited a real hotspot opposite central station: Meet Tuesday. The breathtaking view of the Rotterdam skyline makes it worth exploring the 23rd floor of the Millennium Tower even for those with vertigo. Besides the stylish rooms and lounge, the personal attention to each guest is also a big plus. The day ended at Lommerrijk. Right on the Bergse Plas, this idyllic venue feels like an oasis of calm. With its own salon boat, seven halls, terraces, teambuilding activities and a rentable outdoor location with bar, there is indeed always 'something beautiful in sight'.
